My good friend Jenice Johnson (who is an amazing artist, inspirer, ass-kicker) created some ‘gummy’ art inspired by Nightfall Gardens. Below, you can see Lily and Silas as they enter the dark world of the story. She did a great job capturing the atmosphere of the book. Jenice has been making gummy-based art (as well as others) for years now and is a true artist in the self-made way. Check out her site at Gummy World. | Also, in celebration of the long holiday, the electronic version of Nightfall Gardens is on sale for $3.99 for the next week at Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, Kobo and the iBook store. Perfect for you, the kids or anyone else, to help pass the hot weather. |

You gave her a signed copy of your book to your grandmother's sister who is my mother-in-law (Maxine "Wilson" Willis). She let me read it. I really enjoyed it & can't wait for book 2. How soon after book 2 will book 3 be ready? I look forward to owning all 3.
