"The novel thrives when depicting the bizarre and dangerous: cocoon-sleeping slug women; mummy butlers that are falling apart; vengeful corpse eaters; and even the heroes’ closest ally, a green-skinned tomboy."- Kirkus Reviews
"The beginning of a Harry Potter–esque series for those who prefer gross-out horror to magical whimsy." - Kirkus Reviews

Clip of Allen Houston reading an excerpt from Nightfall Gardens at the Phoenix in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 6, 2013.
I've just finished the first round of edits on "The Shadow Garden", the second book in the Nightfall Garden trilogy. I think its bigger, bolder, darker and carries the series in unexpected directions.
It will be released at the end of August or early September. Firm release date to come soon. |
