Students draw "Nightfall Gardens"

Middle school honors students in Katy, Texas read "Nightfall Gardens" in their class this fall and in addition to writing reports about the book, also picked a character from the series to write about. Here are a few of the cool drawings.

My good friend Jenice Johnson (who is an amazing artist, inspirer, ass-kicker) created some ‘gummy’ art inspired by Nightfall Gardens. Below, you can see Lily and Silas as they enter the dark world of the story. She did a great job capturing the atmosphere of the book. Jenice has been making gummy-based art (as well as others) for years now and is a true artist in the self-made way. Check out her site at Gummy World.
